IND - Inquiry Distribution

The Inquiry Distribution screen shows individual tax rates and amounts and to which government entities taxes are distributed. It also includes a summary of current and past taxes due and the status of the selected tax bill.

From any screen, place the cursor in theOPTION: field, type IND and press [Enter].

The underlined items are explained in the table below:

Field Description
CODE                      Uniform Property Code (UPC).  Used to
                          identify a specific property

TAX RATE                  Tax dollars per $1,000.00 taxable value
                          that is allocated to a city, county, state
                          or other entity.  The total of all of these
                          levies is the full tax rate that is used to
                          calculate the property tax for the
                          displayed tax bill.

TXBL VAL                  The net taxable value upon which the tax
                          rate is applied.  A breakdown of the values
                          can be found on the INV - Inquiry Valuation
                          screen.

TAX DUE                   The dollar amount of the assessed tax that
                          is allocated to a city, county, state or
                          other entity based on the TAX RATE.  The
                          total of all of these amounts is the total
                          tax due for the displayed tax bill.

PRIORS                    Previous tax bills that have not been paid. 
                          These tax bills can be individually looked
                          up on other screens  Type the number
                          without any spaces or dashes:
                          EXAMPLE:  Tax bill 92-89838 would be typed
                          9289838.  INC indicates that more history
                          is available from the Payment Due screen
                          (INC).

ADM FEE                   Amount of Administrative Fee due.

PENALTY                   Amount of penalty due.

INTEREST                  Amount of interest due.

TAX                       Amount of tax due.

DUE FOR                   Amount of tax plus any fees, penalties and 
PRIORS                    interest.

QPA - Query Pending Authorization

The Query Pending Authorization screen is primarily a BCTS internal "notepad" which displays miscellaneous information about the selected tax bill. If there is information on this screen regarding any tax bill, the message FLAG SEE QPA will appear on the bottom right corner of the inquiry screens.

From any screen, place the cursor in the OPTION: field. Type QPA and press [Enter].

The Tax Levies screen shows the percentage distribution of property taxes among city, county and state entities for a selected year.

From any screen, place the cursor in the OPTION: field. Type LVY and press [Enter].
