Printing Files

From the File dropdown menu, select Print...

If you want to print the entire file, click on .

To print a range of pages, click on the Pages button and select the page range you want.

You can also select the Number of copies you want to print.

When you finish selecting print options, click [ OK ] to print.

If you need to change the basic setup of your printer or select a different printer, click on . This displays the Windows printer driver setup window. Please follow configuration suggestions provided by your printer manufacturer.

If it does not print satisfactorily you can change your page setup. Select Page Setup... from the File dropdown menu.

Here, you can change the margins of the printed page. If your printer prints only in black, check the Black Text and Black Lines boxes. If you have a color printer and want colored text to print in color, make sure that the Black Text and Black Lines boxes are not checked.

Make any other modifications you want. Click on when finished.





 








Downloading Files

Files can be downloaded to your computer for viewing and printing when you are off-line (not connected via your modem). File download options are explained below.

Saving the Currently Displayed Document

Using the Save As... option from the File dropdown menu to download the current document saves a file that is formatted for viewing only in a Web browser. Retrieving this document into a word processor such as Word Perfect looks something like the example on the right.

After saving the file, it can be properly viewed in your Web browser while off-line.

Netscape: select the Open File in Browser... option from the File dropdown menu.

Other browsers should have similar options.
